With the winning price of $ 800,000, the Hennessey Venom GT supercar of musician Steven Tyler has officially had a new owner at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA. This money is used for charity purposes.

All proceeds from the auction go to Tyler’s Janie’s Foundation, which will help abused girls in America. In addition, the auction winner also received a guitar autographed by all the members of the Aerosmith band and a week of vacation in Maui.

This Hennessey Venom GT Spyder is one of only 12 to be produced. This used to be the eternal rival of the Bugatti Veyron in speed competitions and once achieved the world’s fastest record.

Owning a 7-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, Venom GT supercar has a maximum capacity of 1,244 horsepower and 1,566 Nm of torque. Combined with that is a 6-speed manual transmission. The car only takes 2.7 seconds to reach from 0 to 96 km / h, and the Guinness record once awarded for the achievement of accelerating from 0 to 300 km / h in 13.63 seconds. The fastest recorded speed was 435 km/h in 2014.
