Taking a hint from the design and functionality of Daimler-Chrysler’s off-road Unimog trucks, the creator of the “Smart ForFun2” (the original Smart For Fun was created at the 2005 Athens Motor Show and involved the For Two’s bigger sibling, the Smart For Four) has been juiced up with a more powerful diesel engine, special shock absorbers, and wheels that are almost bigger than the original car itself.
The third generation “Smart ED” or the Smart electric drive car launched this year (2013) and was the first electric car to be able to go over 100 miles on a single charge!
