Versatile attacking player Jesse Lingard currently trains at Inter Miami while he is in the process of searching for a new club for the 2023/24 season.

After leaving MU, Lingard joined Nottingham Forest before the 2022/23 season. However, he failed to score a goal or assist in 17 Premier League games for Forest and was released at the end of the season.

Since then, Lingard has been contacted by clubs in the MLS and Saudi Arabia. Last week, he was said to move to DC United, but coach Wayne Rooney – Lingard’s former teammate at MU denied this information: “The Lingard deal? I don’t know where the information about recruiting him comes from. But the club has no interest in this deal.”

Currently, Lingard is training with Inter Miami Club in the process of maintaining fitness and preparing for the new 2023/24 season. It is likely that Inter Milami will consider Lingard’s case in the process of upgrading the club’s squad after having picked up superstar Lionel Messi. Or if desired, Lingard can go to Saudi Arabia – where there are a few teams that want his signature.

Not only Lingard, Inter Miami also meant for Sergio Ramos. According to SPORT, Inter Miami is in talks with the former Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain defender in recent days. In addition, the American  team also wants to bring in left-back Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets – two players who are currently free after leaving Barcelona at the end of the 2022/23 season. If all three agree to Inter Miami, they will reunite with Messi and his old teacher Tata Martino.
