It’s been a while since Birdman and son Lil Wayne’s 2006 joint album Like Father, Like Son was released, but it appears that the YMCMB machine is finally moving forward with the record’s release. A few hours ago, Birdman announced on Twitter that the album’s official title is Like Father, Like Son 2: Tha Last Mob.
The last time Birdman discussed the project with Billboard was in April of last year:
“After we all release our solo albums and embark on our tours, we hope to do that sometime in December,” he states. “Since Wayne returned home, we have been working on a number of tracks that we recorded before to him going to jail. We only need to make a choice. We might hold off as Wayne prefers our music to be new. and quickly write and record 20 songs to include on the CD.
