Steve Harvey called out a Family Feud contestant for giving the ‘stupidest’ answer to a question that he has ever heard in his 14 years hosting the popular game show.
In a TikTok video, uploaded to the program’s official account on Sunday, Harvey begins by asking: ‘Women love a man in uniform. Men love a woman in what?’
The query caused the contestant, named Jeff, to pause as he acknowledged that his wife would not like his answer.
‘I’m going to get myself in trouble with my wife,’ he said. ‘But the kitchen.’
Harvey, 67, couldn’t hide his disappointment as he shook his head and looked to the ground as Jeff’s teammates cringed, before clapping to show their support.
One of Jeff’s pals could even be heard saying: ‘Oh, buddy!’
Jeff, then, turned to Harvey and joked that he probably ‘not going home’ tonight after that answer.
To which Harvey told Jeff: ‘Yeah, I gotta tell ya… That’s about the stupidest thing you could have said.’
TikTok users were quick to express their dismay in the comment section as well as share various other answer that would’ve been better than what Jeff said.
‘We all know the #1 answer is nothing,’ one wrote beneath the post.
Another suggested: ‘Nothing, bikini, dress, come on Jeff.’
‘He could have said anything else……. why the kitchen… don’t he know that’s where the knives are kept,’ a third quipped.
A large handful of other comments said Jeff was definitely going to end up ‘divorced.’
Earlier this month, another contestant, named Lee, got booed by the audience for giving a similarly controversial answer to a different question.
In response to Harvey asking what one hundred men answered to being asked what their wife does best, Lee stated ‘clean.’
Harvey stayed silent and side eyed the man, before asking the audience: ‘See how stupid he looks right now?’
Lee defended his answer, which he explained was the ‘first thing that popped in’ his mind.
Ultimately, the answer was the third most popular response from men.
The number one was ‘cook.’
