An overzealous fan attempted to get to Selena Gomez as he jumped the fence of her Los Angeles home on Sunday morning.

The 29-year-old multihyphenate’s security was able to catch the man in the act around 1am, TMZ reported.

Gomez wasn’t at the residence at the time and the cops were called, with the intruder later being booked for trespassing.

The intrusion comes shortly after a different suspect allegedly set a mattress on fire outside the same property.

The new outlet claimed that the person wrote the star’s name in what appeared to be blood before setting fire to it.

That guy was also taken into custody by Los Angeles Police Department law enforcement.

Fortunately, Gomez was also not on the premises during that incident.

Meanwhile, the former Disney star has been enjoying time in France, where she’s promoting her beauty line.

Just two days before the attempted break-in the actress took to Instagram to share photos from Paris.

She wore a black and white checkered co-ord consisting of a short-sleeved crop top and skirt.

Selena bared a bit of her flat stomach in the look, which had a mini skirt with ruffles.

She wrote in the caption: ‘Bonjour from France.’ 

Selena greeted fans at a Sephora brick and mortar that carried her range of beauty products.

She was all smiles with her brunette hair styled in a sleek side part with the strands tucked behind her ears in a sideswept look.

Her shoulder-grazing bob was lustrous and she added a pair of hoop earrings to give the look a pop.

The Rare Beauty founder recently hinted at new music as she shared a TikTok in a recording booth.

She made a brief appearance in a recording studio, though her tantalising clip didn’t feature any music, and barely any sound at all.

Her most latest major release was last year’s Spanish-language EP Revelación.
