But Selena Gomez more than made up for lost time with a striking ensemble as she made her way to the Louis Vuitton Autumn/Winter 2015 show on Wednesday morning.

The 22-year-old pop star held her own against the other stylish attendees in a little patterned dress and chic leather jacket combination.

She had her slender and shapely legs on show in the short frock, which was heavily decorated with an intricate pattern in white, purple and yellow tones.

The high neckline added a stylish and slightly 1970s vibe to proceedings, as did the casual black leather belt slung around her trim waistline.

She covered up with a mid-length leather coat, complete with a shaggy woollen lining in white down the inside and on the cuffs, adding a luxurious warmth to her look.

The pop star teamed her fetching garments with a pair of patent black ankle boots, and a yellow box clutch by Louis Vuitton held in her hand deftly at her side.

She wore her long brunette tresses in a glamorous, curled style, parted at the centre and accentuating her pretty and youthful face, as she arrived at the star-studded show on the final day of Paris Fashion Week.

The young beauty had only arrived in the French capital the evening before, having missed the previous eight days of shows.

She had stayed in the US to spend International Women’s Day with her best friend Taylor Swift, but looked pleased to be among the fashion elite.

Also there were the well-heeled likes of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who have pretty much stolen the limelight in recent days.

And if she was feeling jet-lagged from her very recent long-haul overnight flight, Selena didn’t show it as she went to her first PFW showcase.

Selena posed for a snap with her pal outside the event, and also sat alongside her on the esteemed front row during the catwalk show, along with actress Dianna Agron.

On Sunday, she shared a photo of herself sitting atop a chaise lounge alongside close friend Taylor, who was seen laying back against the star, with her long, slender legs kicked up in the air.

Selena captioned the dramatic photo: ‘She’s so fluffy,’ as Taylor was wearing a fuzzy white fur coat over her black dress.
