Mbappe became the first player in Champions League history to score in ten straight home games with this goal, setting a record. After seven appearances in the Champions League this season, this is the French strikerās fourth goal overall.
Following this goal, PSG played with even greater vigour. They outclassed their Spanish rivals handily. They scored their second goal by the seventieth minute. Barcola took Real Sociedadās penalty area by dribbling the ball and then skillfully struck the goal to make it 2-0.
Real Sociedad conceded a 0-2 defeat after failing to score in the remaining minutes. To receive tickets to the next round, they must defeat PSG in the replay at Anoetaās home stadium at 3:00 a.m. on March 6 with a margin of victory of two goals or more (against the away goals rule excepted).
