Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry, the NBA’s new all-time 3-point leader, arrived in Boston one day ahead of his team’s game against the Celtics and was honored with a special meal at a North End restaurant.Curry hit his 2,974th 3-pointer on Tuesday night in the first quarter against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Curry hit the shot from the right-wing with 7:33 remaining, waving his arms toward the sky as he jogged backward down the court.On Thursday evening, Curry went for dinner at Strega North End in Boston. The restaurant made him a special pizza to commemorate his record-setting 2,974th 3-pointer.With a big smile, Curry posed for a photo holding the pizza.The previous 3-point record was held by Ray Allen since 2011, when he bested Reggie Miller’s mark.Curry is often considered the league’s greatest shooter, and, now, the numbers back him up.
