“Somebody that’s living, that’s right here walking this planet with us – Lauryn Hill,” the New Orleans rapper said.
Lil Wayne has collaborated with countless superstars during his career, which spans over three decades. However, he still wants to work with a few artists, and sadly, a few of them are no longer with us.
During a recent appearance on “Not Just Football with Cam Heyward,” the New Orleans rapper was asked about his dream collaborations – dead or alive. “Michael Jackson,” he began. “The second one would be — not even the second [but] 1A would be Prince. You already know that the other two — if we’re going to do rap — the other two have to be Biggie and Pac, plain and simple.”
He continued, “Now somebody that’s living, that’s right here walking this planet with us – Lauryn Hill.”
Last year, the “Lollipop” hitmaker surprised everyone by appearing at Lauryn Hill’s show in Los Angeles. He came on stage doing a freestyle over The Fugees‘ classic song “Ready or Not.”
