Canadian actor Keanu Reeves revealed he would ‘absolutely’ consider becoming an American citizen, 37 years after first moving to Hollywood at just 20-years-old.

During Thursday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the John Wick star, 58, who was born in Lebanon, recalled growing up in Toronto and wanting to be an actor since he was 15.

‘I came to Hollywood when I was 20, drove in my car’ he told the host, 54. ‘I’ve been living here since 1985.’

Kimmel then pulled out citizenship paperwork from under his desk, and joked he would be willing to marry Reeves to speed up the process.

‘But you’re married,’ The Matrix actor questioned.

Kimmel responded: ‘I know, but I told her that we might have to make some amendments to our constitution.’

The late-night talk show host said he would even host a party on the show to celebrate him if he goes through with the process.

Reeves, who made his comic book writing debut this week with BRZRKR, maintained he would be most interested in obtaining dual citizenship.
