Ever since Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock shared the screen, they have expressed undeniable onscreen chemistry which later sparked offscreen dating rumors between the duo. Rising to fame as young stars during the 90s, Bullock and Reeves gained attention for their appearance in the 1994 movie Speed. 

Although later on the duo appeared in several other solo projects and won appreciation and accolades, Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves were hailed for their joint project Speed. Witnessing fans’ appreciation for the duo, Reeves and Bullock later featured in a 2006 fantasy romance movie The Lake House. 

After turning the critically acclaimed Speed into a cinematic gold, the duo tried to do the same for The Lake House. But unfortunately, the 2006 movie turned into a $114M flop. Keanu Reeves Was Insulted For His Romantic Reunion 

Despite their onscreen chemistry and appreciation for each other, as the duo failed to turn their crush into a genuine relationship, many slammed the pair for their unrequited love. However, certainly no one did it better than the American comedian and actor, Zach Galifianakis, during an interview. 

When Keanu Reeves appeared in Zach Galifianakis’ Netflix Is A Joke interview in 2020, the comedian brutally slammed The Matrix star for his romantic reunion in The Lake House. Galifianakis began by asking the actor about his big scar from a motorbike accident and subtly turned the conversation towards The Lake House reunion. 

“You’ve a scar right here from a motorcycle accident. Where is it?” 

Reeves pointed at his scar under his outfit and mentioned how big it was. That’s when Zach Galifianakis mentioned having a similar scar on his leg. And certainly, when the actor asked him how he got that, out of curiosity, Reeves faced the worst insult of his life. 

“Walked out of the movie ‘Lake House’, bumped into the seat in front of me.” 

Naturally, Keanu Reeves took some time to soak in the subtle humiliation and then moved on with the interview.
