Selena Gomez suddenly shared about her plans to start a family a few weeks after her ex-boyfriend – singer Justin Bieber – announced the good news that he was about to have his first child.
American actress and singer Selena Gomez (31 years old) revealed in a recent interview that she originally planned to adopt a child before she turned 35. But Selena would only do this if she did not find a suitable partner. Currently, she has found her other half.
“I was single for about five years before I started dating Benny. I was used to being single. A lot of people are afraid of being single because they feel lonely. I was miserable for two years, but then I felt like being single was acceptable. I was planning to adopt before I turned 35, if I didn’t meet the right person,” Selena confided.
After that, Selena met music producer Benny Blanco (36 years old). They officially announced their relationship in 2023. Therefore, Selena stopped her adoption plan and happily enjoyed the sweet love she had.
Recently, Benny Blanco also shared about his plan to start a family with Selena Gomez: “Selena is the most interesting, sweet, kind person. She is like my best friend. My next plan is to have children with Selena. I have many godchildren, many grandchildren in the family. I love being with children.”
When asked about his plans to propose to Selena, Benny did not share specifics but he confirmed that it was something he wanted to do: “Every time I looked at her, I told myself: ‘Before I met you, I really didn’t know that life could be this wonderful'”.
When asked how she felt about Benny’s sharing, Selena said: “I enjoy every moment with him. I don’t know what the future holds for us, but I know that he won’t disappear from my life in the near future.”
