Early morning of August 12 (Vietnam time), superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend – Georgina Rodriguez posted a picture of a large diamond ring on her ring finger with the sweet caption: “Yes, I do. In this life and all the next.”

So, after nearly a decade together, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez will have a happy ending. The two have two children together, Alana Martina and Bella Esmeralda, in addition to the former Man United star’s three children from a previous relationship.

Previously, on his 40th birthday, Ronaldo revealed about a wedding not far away: “I always say to her ‘when will we have this moment?’. She knows what I’m talking about. It could be in a year, it could be in 6 months or it could be just 1 month, but I’m 1000% sure that it will happen.”\

Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez met at a Gucci store in 2016. The Portugal captain likened their relationship to love at first sight.

In a 2019 interview, Ronaldo admitted: “She is a wonderful person. Yes, it was true love. It was like a magical first meeting and now she is part of my life. She helps me a lot.”

At the age of 40, Ronaldo is ready to open a new chapter for his beautiful love.
