Joanna Gaines is sharing how she approaches her journey of faith with a simple reminder. The HGTV star looks to the Silos grounds for inspiration, as the project represents how partnering with God and letting go can lead to great things.

On November 10, Gaines took to Instagram to share a message about how the Silos are a symbol of her journey of faith.
“These pictures of the Silos grounds were taken over ten years ago and I go back to these images often. When we said ‘Yes’ to these grounds back in 2014, we said yes to whatever God wanted to do with this place,” she wrote in the caption.
Gaines continued, “The journey of faith isn’t an easy one. Saying yes to something, big or small, is saying yes to an active partnership with God — Letting go of any guarantee of the outcome, other than the simple truth that He is with you. No matter what.”
“When I’m doubting if my prayers are working, or if it’s worth digging in, I hear a gentle whisper, ‘Silos sized faith’ … and I’m reminded once again to say yes to partnering with Him, to see it through,” she noted.
The “Fixer Upper” star added, “What do you need to say yes to in this season? What are you believing for? I’m encouraged this Sunday to remind myself and anyone out there who needs to hear this, keep going. Keep pressing in, He is with you. ❤️”
She later posted a follow up video that showed the “after” of the Silos grounds. “Deep gratitude for what this place has become,” she wrote. “Miracle after miracle.”
Fans flooded the comments section of both of her posts, noting the impact of her message.
“‘Silo Sized Faith’ … that one will stay in my heart and mind 🥹. Thank you for sharing, encouraging, and being so wonderfully you!” one fan wrote.
Another person noted, “What an amazing accomplishment, with God leading the way.”
“Thank you so much for sharing this. The hardest most beautiful prayer is ‘Let Your will be done,’” one fan shared. “Giving everything over to God — knowing the Lord’s plans are perfect and greater than our minds can imagine. It can be so scary to let go of outcomes — but that sweet surrender leads to such a beautiful life. Always inspired by your journey of faithfulness.”
One fan marveled, “I have loved watching this place grow! We have visited throughout the years and seeing all the changes has been so amazing!”
“Wow! I remember when you started this project and it was just a dream,” another person shared. “Well done!”
