LeBron James may be a perpetual MVP candidate during the NBA season, but he’s a complete family man in the summer. This offseason, he has been seen attending his youngest son Bryce’s Nike EYBL games and hyping him up like a true father. Bryce has been balling at Peach Jam, playing for Team SFG (Strive For Greatness), with a little bit of guidance from his father and his former NBA champion teammate Rajon Rondo. Shaquille O’Neal’s daughter, Me’Arah O’Neal recently joined King James to hype up Bryce and Kiyan Anthony in their contest against Phenom United.
Interestingly, Me’arah is herself a top NCAA prospect for 2024, who has been making headlines for her own talent. At 17 years old, Me’Arah has already received multiple offers from the likes of LSU, Baylor, Kentucky, and Alabama. She is also playing in the same tournament as Bryce and Kiyan. The 6ft 4″ star has carved her own way and has moved on to become one of the top 50 WNBA prospects in her class.
LeBron James’ son Bryce unites with Kiyan Anthony to beat 5-star duo from Phenom United
Call it LeBron’s leadership or the genius of some raw young talents, but SFG has become one of the hottest teams in the Nike tournament. Bryce Maximus was joined by Kiyan Anthony in one of the biggest face-offs of the tournament, and it didn’t disappoint fans. The star duo didn’t kill the hype that came with the match-up. They teamed up in Las Vegas and beat Phenom United 74-68. The five-star duo of Phenom, Darryn Peterson and Jalen Haralson couldn’t lead their team to victory.
Social media posts of LeBron and Me’Arah celebrated Kiyan and Bryce’s memorable team up. Me’Arah had captioned the picture, “Bryce and Kiyan teamed up!”, while LeBron wrote, “boys Too tough” on Instagram. Lala Anthony, Kiyan’s mother, also shared the story on social media to boost her son.
LeBron coaching Bryce in Palm Beach proved he is a typical NBA coach in the postseason
The stories about LeBron James’ IQ in basketball have become legends in NBA folklore. Players have come forward and shared stories about the unique basketball mind that James has. Bron recently coached his son and his team, SFG, at the Nike Nationals. James humored NBA fans with his courtside antics of running on the sideline, making substitutions, and arguing with the referees, just like a typical coach.
After watching him coach, fans on Twitter said that they would want to see King James coach a team rather than own one in the NBA. With the kind of basketball savant that he is, it is not highly improbable that he would be an excellent coach. However, lucky for us, he is still playing basketball, and we can still witness his greatness.
