“People criticize my performance. Honestly, I sympathize with them. I obviously didn’t play as well at PSG as I did when I played for the French team,” Mbappé honestly shared with the newspaper that holds the Ballon d’Or. “I’ve seen Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo play football. They win a lot of Ballons d’Or, and that’s my goal. You have the opportunity to witness and learn.”
But I think PSG can’t help me win the Ballon d’Or because it’s a team that lacks unity and has internal divisions. There’s a lot of talk about PSG. However, I don’t care and I know what I’m doing and how well I do it,” the French star continued.

What Mbappe shared is not without foundation. He won the World Cup in 2018, scoring a hat-trick in the World Cup final for the French team in 2022. At the club level, Mbappe and PSG have only played in the European Cup final once, even once. season when he even lost the Ligue 1 championship.
Kylian Mbappé’s statement came in the context of his announcement that he would not renew his contract with PSG. The French team is under pressure to sell players born in 1998 to avoid losing everything. Real Madrid is said to be a possible landing spot for Mbappé, and the transfer fee will be between 150 and 200 million euros.
