The final series of friendly matches before Euro 2024 proved to be a disappointment for the “giants,” since defeats to England and Portugal resulted in a draw, which was equivalent to France losing.

Four days ago, France virtually stepped onto the pitch and won 3-0 against Luxembourg, therefore it is not unreasonable for coach Didier Deschamps’ team to dream of defeating Canada 10-6 in the morning. 

However, the North American team, led by coach Jesse Marsch, acquired a lot of valuable lessons after losing 4–0 to the Netherlands in a friendly match in Rotterdam a few days ago…
