WHO IS MARJORIE?
Marjorie Harvey was born on October 10, 1964, and was raised in Memphis, Tennessee.

Marjorie and Steve initially met during a comedy show that took place in Memphis in 1990.
The entrepreneur first caught her husband’s eye after she made a late arrival at his performance, and she spoke about their initial encounter during a 2018 episode of The Steve Harvey Show.
She recalled that ‘I thought he was going to give me the business because he got real quiet. He was just staring at me.’
Marjorie added: ‘He finally realized, “Oh, I gotta say something.” He was, like, “Oh, I’m sorry. I don’t know who this is, but I’m gonna marry her.”‘
Steve was previously married to his first wife, Marcia, from 1981 until 1994, and he was subsequently married to Mary Shackelford from 1996 until 2005.
The pair went on to begin a short-lived relationship that ended after just a few weeks when the comedian broke things off with his now-wife.
WHEN DID SHE RECONNECT WITH HER HUSBAND?
Marjorie and Steve eventually reconnected in 2005 after his bodyguard suggested that he reach out to the social media personality.
The comedian subsequently spoke to People and explained that he had broken off their past relationship with his spouse in order to focus on his then-burgeoning career in comedy.
He told the media outlet that re-establishing his relationship with his partner ‘was like being reborn. I messed up so many times in my life. She made all the difference.’
