Kevin Hart ended up getting punished after he fell asleep during a livestream.
The comedian was recently a featured guest on popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat’s ‘sleepover’ stream.
Prior to the stream, which was broadcast live on June 10, Cenat had shared his excitement over Hart’s appearance on X.
He wrote: “Kevin Hart, and Druski will be here with KC3 in a few days for the craziest stream ever. I ain’t gonna lie, cancel everything you got.”
But the 44-year-old star may have regretted showing up as he was in for a shock when he fell asleep during the stream.
A clip from the stream shows Hart catching some Z’s before another guest brutally tips a bucket of water over him.
The room bursts into laughter as Hart jolts awake and one of the group repeatedly shouts: “Wake up Kevin!”
While the punishment may seem savage, X users had little sympathy for the comedian.
One fan wrote: “Absolutely soaked him,” alongside a laughing emoji.
Meanwhile, another said it’s what he deserved for being ‘the first to sleep at the homies sleepover.’
And a third commented: “Bro went for a swim lmfaoo.”
However, Hart got his own back on Cenat and was later seen pouring a bucket of water over the streamer.
These weren’t the only viral moments to come out of the record-breaking stream, which peaked at 720k viewers.
One of the highlights happened when Hart FaceTimed none other than Los Angeles Lakers legend LeBron James.
During the call, he jokingly roasted the basketball player by telling the host: “Be quiet, I’m asking what time he’s playing.”
NBA fans will know that James’ team were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs earlier this year.
However, James took the roast in his stride, replying: “They haven’t sent me the schedule yet.”
But, it hasn’t been all fun and games for Hart. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show earlier this year, the star revealed that he’d ‘almost died’ in a terrifying plane incident.
Hart reflected on the tense experience which saw the exterior of an aircraft he was travelling on catch fire.
“I almost died,” he told Norton.
“We were landing and as we did the front wheel broke, and I just saw flames coming out of the front of the plane.”
Hart revealed that despite the scary situation he was involved in, he’d reached a point of contentment in his life that calmed him.
“It was one of those moments when I thought, ‘This is it,’ and I realized that if it happens I was cool with where I was in life. I didn’t panic.”
